OUCH!!! Sakho gets three game ban!

Unlikely scenes

In emerging news West ham's top striker Diafra Sakho has received a whopping three match ban for his involvement in an off the ball tussle with an Opponent during the recent victory over FC Lusitanos in Andorra.

Given the disturbing impotence of our attack in last night's second round tie vs Maltese outfit Birkirkara, the ruling is all the more concerning.

With Modi Maiga and (midfielder) Mauro Zarate leading the line, the Hammers may well need a big contribution from their defence if they are to avoid an embarrassing result when they travel to Malta for the away leg next week.

On the plus side, our predicament will surely persuade the board to dip into tge war chest and hopefully get Chaz Austin on board.

  5. Elliot Lee to start he is the future. Bilic had to give Maiga a chance just to make sure in his mind whether to get rid.

  6. Elliott Lee maybe an emerging star in the making, but David, David & Slaven just go and secure the signature of Charlie Austin.
Proven goal scorer in the prem in a poor QPR team. English. Wants to stay in London.

He'll be good for us and we'll be good for him.

  7. Why did we let Seb Lletget go - we have so little attacking force right now?

  8. I read earlier on in the week that sakho had only received a one match suspension!

  9. After feeling quite optimistic with some of our current signings, there was reason for concern that we struggled against Maltese part timers. We should of been able to steam role past such opposition even with 10 men.
Without Sakho we can't hit a barn door. He shouldn't be expected to do it on his own because our support strikers are not good enough.
Owners stop pussy footing about and sign a proven goal scorer. Go and get "CHARLIE AUSTIN" before its to late.
We should be challenging for honours and establishing ourselves in the top six.
    Concerned Hammer.
