Entering the final quarter at the Vitality stadium this evening things were looking mighty bleak for the Hammers. One down and without a clear focus of our attack, Bournemouth by far and away looked more likely to score the next goal.
Then the game turned on it's head as the Hammers brought proceedings to another level and eventually ran out clear winners. The Cherries deserved more, but football can be harsh.
The biggest controversy for Hammers fans is to decide which free kick was better? Payet's spinning sizzler or Valencia's wicked dipper? At VERYWESTHAM we simply cannot decide!
Take a look for yourself....which free kick do you think was better?
Payet. Gamechanger.
ReplyDeleteBoth pure gold dust .........and on that note thank you Mr Gold and Mr Sullivan for making it great again to be a Hammer!!!!! best squad in my 51 years of being a Hammer
ReplyDeletePayet simple, pressure, one nil down
ReplyDeleteI agree with Payet's goal being the best because of the context, but Valencia's goal was incredibly fast...it was hard to believe it happened
ReplyDeleteIgnoring context, I believe Valencia's was better. His was in a much more difficult position and it was swirling like crazy. Also, taking nothing away from it, but there was a small deflection on Payet's.
ReplyDeleteValencia's for shock appeal. Weird trajectory with outrageous dip on it. Payets was fab but unsurprising.
