Suddenly today's game has more significance than expected as Liverpool have slumped at Stoke and Spurs are winning at Everton. The net effect is that Liverpool would take the Europa League Fair Play spot (if they stay ahead of us on the complex rating system).
We need Everton to get a draw and if we beat Newcastle we will still be in the top ten...
Hmmm.
We really dont want Spurs to nab our Euro spot, do we?
