Let's hope David Gold is Looking down on this

West ham are top of the league! No, it's not a fair play league or goals from corners table, it's the actual Premier league table.

It was a day with much to celebrate as the Hammers finally ended their awful run against Brighton, with a MOTM performance from Alphonse Areola, first goal for James Ward Prowse and tremendous strikes from Bowen and Antonio in a hugely disciplined performance.

Man city play tomorrow and may topple us then, but tonight we are kings!

No doubt David Gold is smiling!

  1. He will be watching his team with the biggest smile. All the board have done us good over the last couple years we've built a team that's hard to play against and this season is existing times for us with our quality signing s so far. Well done moysey aswell hopefully the support for him will grow this season. Coyi

  2. My Brother was a huge West ham fan, going to his first game as a five year old and his last as a sixty six year old. Through away days at Luton, in the rain to trips to Belgium he was always there. He passed on 1st August, but wherever he is, I know that this seasons results so far would have him cheering.

  3. Great respect for David Gold, born east London with nothing played for WH boys, just like my dad same age too.. . Only difference he became a billionaire. They are both looking down now.
