Yessie to Kessie!!! Hammers To Address Midfield Shortcomings

Reports in the Italian media suggest that the Hammers plan to sort out their deficit in midfield energy wiith a swoop for AC Milan Ivorian international Franck Kessie. The 23 year old is an energetic powerhouse with good close control and plenty of pace. With mark Noble not getting any younger, he would be an ideal longer term partner for Declan Rice in midfield.

More importantly, the Hammers will need battlers in their relegation fight and Kessie certainly that type of combative presence that David Moyes would relish. With the brittle Wilshere and underwhelming Sanchez as Midfield back up, imagine if Declan Rice picked up an injury?

Kessie is not especially creative but with Yarmolenko, Anderson, Lanzini and Fornals to support Antonio and Haller, the reakl issue is too strengthen midfield, support the defence better and hold onto the ball when we need to take better control of games. At a negotiable £20million, Kessie looks just the 'real' business Moyes needs to make in the January window when real quality is at a premium.

Fingers crossed the current rumours will swell to actual business in the coming days as Moyes needs to add energy and discipline to his side as soon as possible!

  1. AC Milan must ask more than 35 million from Kessie"s signature, because he will become instant star in England!
