The Charlie Austin saga looks to be over with the striker tweeting that he plans to remain as QPR #9 for the season. In truth, QPR should thank Hammers Chairman David Sullivan for scaring off the posse of Premiership clubs by suggesting that his £15 million valuation was excessive given his alleged injury concerns but one suspects that a thankyou card may be slow in coming!
Austin's contract with QPR expires in the Summer and that now looks the right time to swoop for the prolific striker. He can use the interim to prove that his ligaments are intact!
COYI!!!
Sources reckon He'll sign another contract!
