A super transfer window that could become truly Marvelous!

With all the talk about further recruits for West Ham, it is worth bearing in mind that Manuel Pellegrini has a lot of options at striker and attacking midfield areas, especially when Lanzini and Carroll return.

The Chilean has also added significantly to West Ham's leaky backline, but it is the holding defensive midfield berths that the club looks to most need reinforcements. With Kouyate gone and Obiang possibly on the way, Pellegrini clearly has ideas for replacements.

Reports today in the Zimbabwian media suggest that Bruges Zimbabwe International Marvelous Nakamba may be heading for the London Stadium. after three consecutive seasons where he has excelled in Holland and Belgium (playing a major part in Club Brugge winning the Belgian title), many feel that at 24 years of age he is now ready to make the big step up to one of the major leagues of Europe.

An all action, physical presence, he is not the tallest (5ft 9) or most prolific (2 goals in 100 games over the past three seasons), but his energy and strength can provide the drive that West Ham need to support what is now an impressive attacking line. Westhamworld.co.uk have suggested that Nakamba is on Pellegrini's radar, but it is also of note that Everton and Liverpool have expressed interest in the past.

The transfer window closes this coming Thursday so either way we will have an answer in the next few days.

COYI!!!
