Surprises as Hammers Attacking Midfield Square Up

Things are looking up at West ham with the change in management and a sense that we can wipe the slate clean on a season that has stuttered and dipped.

As David Moyes looks to his available resources he will feel that he has decent options in the absence of other options beyond Seb Haller, Michail Antonio has again reverted to a central role up front - and with good effect!

In midfield we have a number of talented players - none of whom have quite kicked into gear. Felipe Anderson was our record buy and is generally thought to have underperformed - especially in comparison to last season when he was almost unplayable at times. It is interesting that in fact his stats for the season to date are stronger than his attacking midfield team-mates.

Pablo Fornals has grown and grown but still rates lowest in terms of overall contribution. Meanwhile, Andriy Yarmolenko started well with a series of goals but has been hindered by injury. In contrast. Manny Lanzini  seems over his injury troubles and is now coming back into form and has a tremendously high accuracy in his passing game.

COYI!!!
